The cradle of Nairobi International Fair, Jamhuri Park, is situated in an indigenous forest and is among the most beautiful show grounds in the world. Covering an area of 109 hectares, 97 of which have been enclosed for exhibition, the showground is situated 30 kilometer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The Trade area covers more than 70 hectares and the stands range from impressive stone pavilions to small semi-permanent buildings and prefabricated structures. Among new improvements are: Two new exhibition Halls that have been constructed with ready inbuilt stalls ranging from 3x3=9 sq. meters up to 100 sq. meters.

The committee intends to put up an ultra-modern state of the art exhibition hall with all modern communication equipment at an estimate cost of Kshs.2 billions. Stakeholders are invited to come in as partners in this project.

A magnificent arena provides ample space for full scale military tattoos, grand parades of livestock and display of all kinds. Roofed seating is available and entertainment ranging from military bands, traditional dances (both local and foreign), horse shows and many other events are a major attraction. It also offers exhibitor's sound outdoor advertising space. For the young visitors, a funfair amusement park provides a variety of entertainment.

A professional management team manages the showground and amenities are of international standards. Electricity and water supply is available, there is an efficient telephone service, tarmac roads and street lighting. There is also a variety of restaurants and catering for all tastes and pockets are also available.

The post office, bank, fire and first aid stations are centrally located and there is ample secure parking space adjoining the showground.

There is a general information office situated on Harambee Driving adjoining the main Arena and opposite the Agricultural Society of Kenya's Nairobi Branch Offices.

The Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) was established as a State Corporation through the KICC Order, 2004 contained in Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 45, Legislative Supplement No. 26 (Legal Notice No. 77) dated 9th July 2004.

To promote and market conference tourism both locally and internationally;
To monitor the quality and standard of conference facilities and advice both private and public investors on improvement of such facilities;
To plan and implement the expansion and modernization of existing conference facilities and develop new ones
